Sullivan Companies Implements New TMS

The Sullivan Companies are proud to announce the scheduled implementation on April 26th of our new Transportation Management System (TMS). Our enhanced TMS, when fully integrated, will provide the added feature of real time track and trace. Palmer Dedicated Logistics Adds Stretchwrap Machines

On March 16th, 2010 PDL added 2 new fully automated stretch machines to improve the efficiency of our pallet wrapping operation. These machines not only wrap each pallet faster, but apply an optimal number of wraps. PDL is continually looking for innovative ways to deliver our customers product damage free, on-time and at a fair rate. By utilizing these automated machines PDL will be able to reduce the amount of wrap apllied to an average pallet by almost 70%, which will reduce the amount of wrap that enters the waste stream. Guitar Center Selects Sullivan Companies

Sortation services are being provided thru Palmer Dedicated Logistics in Westfield, MA with deliveries being made by PDL, R.M. Sullivan Transportation and Sullivan Consolidation.
Guitar Center is a leading provider of musical instruments and has over 200 stores thoughout the United States.

Palmer Dedicated Logistics Personnel Changes

Due to continued growth within the Palmer Dedicated Logistics, LLC organization, we are excited to announce the addition of Tom Peterson to our management staff as 3rd Shift Supervisor. Tom brings a strong back ground of managerial and operational experience. We are also pleased to announce that Joe Jasmin, 3rd Shift Supervisor, has been given opportunity to assume the responsibilities of 1st Shift Supervisor and Bed, Bed and Beyond Liaison. Joe has been with PDL for 2 years as 3rd Shift Supervisor and has extensive knowledge of Bed, Bath and Beyond’s operational requirements.
We wish both Tom and Joe success in their new responsibilities and look forward to their help in continuing to provide excellent service to our growing list of retail accounts.
