On December 3rd, 2007 Palmer Dedicated Logistics purchased a 275,000 square foot storage facility in Westfield, MA to be used for public and retail distribution warehousing. The company immediately began to install a 31 lane sortation system which consists of an eight scanner tunnel, a 250 foot narrow belt sorter and 1,500 feet of accumulation conveyor to hold cartons for later sortation.

The first retail cartons were loaded onto the sorter April 3rd and is currently being used for multiple retail accounts.
